Andrea Davis to Scott Morinoue

From the get go, Andrea Davis and Scott Morinoue set out to create a wedding that celebrated what they value most: each other, their family and friends, self-expression, and creativity. The photography of Jay Reilly Weddings captured the beauty of the couple and the warmth of their special day, and we're very excited to share it with you.

(Update: Red Letter Days Events is very excited to have Andrea and Scott's wedding featured this month on Style Me Pretty's Little Black Book Blog!)

Andrea and Scott chose to see each other before the ceremony. It was a privilege to witness their reflective anticipation only moments before the big reveal.

Setting their day in an urban environment spoke most to Andrea and Scott, and served as the perfect backdrop for the couple's portraits.

The couple's contemporary personal florals complimented the clean look of their attire and really spoke to both of their personalities.

Andrea and Scott took a few moments to themselves...

...before Andrea's father proudly escorted her down the aisle.

The rooftops of downtown San Diego framed the magic of their ceremony.

A pause as Mr. and Mrs. before the party began.

To honor the Asian-inspired twist that Andrea and Scott sought for their celebration, the escort card table was adorned with floral sushi and other accoutrement.

Pretty enough to eat.

Dinner tables were named after locations of significance to the couple.

Bamboo centerpieces strung with votives and screens upshot with lighting brought warmth and play to all levels of the room.

Black, white, and wasabi green were the colors of the day.

And as a focal point that brought all theme, color, and personality together...the cake.

Andrea and Scott cherished every moment of their wedding...

...with laughter...

...and friendship.

And music, an essential element to Andrea and Scott's day...

...kept Crystal Pier rockin' all night.

They're Scott and Andrea Morinoue.

And they're in love.
