Ginny Wolter to Dave Renke

Ginny Wolter and Dave Renke are incredibly cool people. They're kind, accomplished, and impressive, as individuals and as a couple. Their families are delightful and fun, and their wedding was one of the most loving affairs we've ever had the pleasure of taking part in.

In addition, they LOVE rock 'n roll. When we met with Ginny's mother, Terry, for the first time, she showed us Ginny and Dave's Save the Date card ~ it was a stunning letterpress announcement created by none other than Hatch Show Print (THE design and print company of rock 'n roll and country's biggest names, and supplier for all things poster for the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee...think Grand Ole Opry...for over a century).

We knew we wanted to work with this couple.

Feast your eyes on images from the elegant affair that celebrated the genuine spirit of Ginny and Dave, thanks to the talent of Jennifer Bowen Photography. Ceremony San Diego Wedding & Events 2009 Magazine has also featured the celebration on pages 287-289. You can view it online here!

Ginny has a terrific eye for style and detail (she's a fellow event planner!) and her invitations set the tone for a grand day. A perfect transition from the fun, rock 'n roll-inspired Save the Date!

Getting ready for Ginny and her girls was nothing but fun...

...and very touching.

Dave shared time with loved ones as well...

...before it was time to jump in the Rolls Royce and head to the church.

The personal florals for the day were stunning, elegant, and clean.

Ginny used her grandmother's wedding gloves to wrap the stem of her bouquet.

The wedding party's florals, in colors of the day inspired by the vibrancy of a California sunset, reflected the excitement and warmth of the couple.

As guests enjoyed the beautiful programs that Ginny and Dave created with love...

...Ginny took a moment to reflect and observe.

A grand entrance...

...with a very proud father.

A magnificent setting...

...in which to unite the very happy couple.

Mr. and Mrs. at last.

And time to celebrate!

The stage was set for a phenomenal evening.

Both square and round tables were used for dinner seating, and a grand head table was the anchor of the room.

Elegant centerpieces played with light, color, texture, and height, perfect for such a luxurious environment.

Tables were named after Dave and Ginny's favorite concert venues, and included an image of the couple at each venue with a bit of history about the location and its significance.

Letterpress menus personalized with beautiful calligraphy greeted each guest.

The beautiful cake acted as a focal point for the room and the table was accented with the toasting coupes that Ginny's parents used at their wedding.

The first dance kicked off what was to be a night to remember.

And after cake cutting...

...time to rock out...

...for a lifetime.
