Wasabi-licious ~ Andrea and Scott's Wedding on Style Me Pretty

Our friends at Style Me Pretty rock! They fell in love with the freshness of Andrea and Scott's wasabi-inspired wedding as much as we did, and gave props to our kickin' couple in a feature post on their Little Black Book Blog!

Embellishmint received huge nods for every one's favorite treat ~ floral sushi ~ as did Jay Reilly for his photographic masterwork.

Nice!

Ceremony Magazine 2009 San Diego

The new 2009 Ceremony Magazine for San Diego is on stands now!

Friends, we super dig our ad. Photographer Cary Pennington captured the magic of Elisabeth and Todd's elegant day (we can't wait to share images with you!) and as always, graphic designer extraordinaire Glenn Kramer created a spread that showcases the couple's complete coolness.

We Heart The Chargers! ~ Part Two

I actually should title this post "Mia Hearts The Chargers!" because yesterday, Mia had one of her life-long dreams come true.

Mia has always been a die-hard San Diego Chargers fan. Thanks to our dear friends who have the pleasure of working for the San Diego Chargers, Lesley Fisher (on the left below) and Yolanda Tyus, as well as one of our best friends, Julie Larsen (Senior Catering Manager for Omni San Diego...between me and Mia), Mia and I had the privilege of attending the game between the Chargers and the Indianapolis Colts at Qualcomm Stadium.

It was tremendous to experience the excitement and joy of such a well-deserved win by our hometown boys ~ what infectious energy! "I've been wanting to be in the stands to cheer on my team for a playoff win for as long as I can remember," Mia told me as we were leaving Qualcomm after the game. "What a game to see!"

Of course, we started the day off right by tailgating! Our buddy, Kalani Weber, joined us for the festivities...

...and became the master of grilling for the afternoon.

We were doubly fortunate to have terrific seats where we were able to watch the action closely!

The overtime coin toss.

Philip Rivers and Peyton Manning.

San Diego's "Twelfth Man" played an important role in yesterday's win for sure!

And I'm also certain that the beloved "Super Charger" lent a hand in the favorable outcome for the Bolts.

Congratulations, Mia, on a dream come true!

And congratulations to the Chargers...we're cheering you on to the Super Bowl!
