Neo-Classical Prettiness and Mid-Century Tea Party, Anyone?

Wow, we've been busy. :)

We LOVE April. It never fails to deliver in the creativity department ~ parties and open houses, bridal shows, beautiful spring weddings...

Good times.

We're honored to have been invited to take part in two events this month that are still the topic of water cooler conversation. The Open House for Concepts Event Design on April 22 was a smashing success (thanks to the rock star cast of participating vendors and the expert planning of Mr. Thomas Bui). Industry professionals, clients, friends, and family gathered to celebrate the success of beloved Haydee and Fred Alderete and their outstanding team.

Our thanks for Sean Capshaw of Resolusean for sharing his beautiful images.

Using linens, custom "shabby chic" chairs, and chargers from Concepts' inventory, we partnered with off-the-hook floral designer, Sharon Mintz of Organic Elements, to create our group interpretation of Neo-Classical Pretty.

Sweet Cheeks Baking Company generously added a touch of delicious to our wedding-inspired pink plates.

And on April 11, we partnered with floral lovely, Adrianne Smith, and vintage goods connoisseur, Patricia Laurice of Che Laurice at Leaping Lotus, to create a Mid-Century Tea Party for the U.S. Grant's Wedding and Event Showcase. Pulling items from every one's personal collections, we touched upon our united love for the fresh and fun in life.
Thank you to Jeff Almquist for sharing his beautiful images.
